Benefit of Organic Fertilizer - Various studies indicate that the most intensive agricultural land has been experiencing declining productivity and land degradation, primarily associated with very low organic carbon content in the soil, which is 2%. Though required to obtain optimum productivity of about 2.5% organic carbon.

Organic fertilizers are very useful for increasing agricultural production both in quality and quantity, reduce environmental pollution, and improve the quality of land in a sustainable manner. The use of organic fertilizers in the long term can increase the productivity of land and prevent land degradation.

The source material for organic fertilizer is very diverse, with the physical characteristics and chemical constituents are very diverse, so the effect of the use of organic fertilizer to the land and plants may vary. In addition, a large enough role to the improvement of physical properties, chemical and biological soil environment.

Organic fertilizers are added to the soil will go through several phases of renovation by soil microorganisms to become humus Organic matter also acts as a source of food energy and soil microbes, thereby increasing the microbial activity in nutrient supply of organic material in addition plants. Adding as a nutrient source for plants, as well as a source of energy and nutrients for the microbes.

The basic ingredients of organic fertilizers derived from plant residues contain less hazardous materials. The use of manure, industrial waste and municipal waste compost as the base material because many contain harmful heavy metals and organic acids that can contaminate environment. During the composting process, some of these hazardous materials will be concentrated in the final fertilizer product.

This requires the selection of the base material compost containing hazardous materials and toxic (B3). Organic fertilizer granules may act as the primary binder into the soil in the formation of secondary grains is influenced fertilizer. State storage, water supply, soil aeration, and soil temperature. Organic material with a lot of carbon and nitrogen, such as straw or husks greater influence on the improvement of soil physical properties compared with organic matter such as compost decomposes.

Organic fertilizers have a significant chemical functions such as:

The provision of macro nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur) and micro such as zinc, copper, cobalt, barium, manganese, and iron, although the numbers are relatively small.
Increase the cation exchange capacity (CEC) of land.
Forming complexes with metal ions that poisoned crops such as aluminum, iron, and manganese.

Lecy are sweet because it contains rich nutrients vitamin C and potassium levels are high. Substances present in the lecy can prevent and treat various diseases, such as coughs, ulcers, and hypertension.

Fruit lecy (Litchi chinensis Sonn) comes from the province of Kwantung and Fukien in Southern China. In 1873 the plant was spread to Hawaii, then to Florida, USA in 1883. Kwantung and Fukien province in China known as the largest producer of lecy fruit, followed by India and other countries.

Lecy is a subtropical plant that belongs to the family Sapindaceae or soapberry. Known by several terms, such as Lichi, Litchi, lichee, laichi, leechee, or lychee. Lecy fruit has a high price, both in fresh and in processed form.

Solid Sugar
The water content in lecy fruit is quite high, around 77-83 percent, the energy levels of about 66 kcal per 100 grams. Most of the energy comes from carbohydrates (sugars), amounting to 59.5 kcal, the rest of the protein and fat in a row by 2.8 kcal and 3.7 kcal. Carbohydrate content in lychee fruit is quite high (16.53 g per 100 g of fruit), which consists of various types of sugars.

Lecy contain sucrose and glucose is abundant, so that eating leeched fruit in the evening can increase energy reserves for the next day. Sugar content contained on lecy varies depending on the variety, but generally reaches 10-13 percent. Lecy is also a source of dietary fiber (dietary fiber) is pretty, which is about 1.3 g per 100 g of fruit flesh.

Fat content in leeched fruit is very low, so it is good to be consumed by all age groups, including those who are dieting to maintain or lose weight. Therefore, there is no limit how many lecy that should be consumed per day.

Vitamins are most prominent on the leeched fruit is vitamin C with levels of 71.5 mg per 100 grams of meat. With 100 grams of fruit lecy, was able to meet more than 100 percent of vitamin C a day.

Vitamin C is very useful natural antioxidants to fight free radical attack, the cause of premature aging, cancer and other diseases. Based on these beliefs, today’s vitamin C added to many processed food products.

Minerals are prominent on lecy fruit is 171 mg potassium, phosphorus 31 mg, 10 mg magnesium, and calcium 5 mg. Although the low levels, lecy also contains iron, zinc, copper, sodium, selenium, and other minerals.

Calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium are a mineral essential to the triad of bone formation and skeletal normal, so it is required of children who are growing and also by adults to inhibit the rate of osteoporosis.
Copper is a mineral antioxidant. This mineral deficiency can disrupt the body’s normal mechanisms for eliminating the presence of free radicals are always formed in the body.

Mineral copper (Cu) can form a complex with Superoxide Dismutase antioxidant enzyme systems (SOD), which plays a role in neutralizing superoxide radicals.
It is very interesting from the mineral composition of lecy is the ratio between potassium (K) and sodium (Na) is very high at 171:1.This is very beneficial for processed foods that we consume daily are generally contains high Na, but very low K. This is exactly what led to the increasing number of hypertensive patients in Indonesia.

Potassium (also known as potassium) very important role in improving the regularity of heart rate, activating muscle contractions, regulate the delivery of other nutrients to body cells, control fluid balance in the body tissue, as well as lowering high blood pressure (hypertension). Thus, if the unfortunate food processing often lead to low ratio of potassium to sodium, resulting from the use table salt and MSG (flavor enhancer) is excessive.

High consumption of food is expected to offset the high K Na due to consumption of food containing MSG and salt. The ratio of Na and K in the daily diet that is recommended is 1:1. Complete nutritional composition of lecy fruit can be seen in Table 1.

Acid levels in lecy fruit reach .20 to .64 percent. The most dominant type of acid is malic acid which reached 80 percent, while the remaining 20 percent consisting of citric acid, succinic, levulinat, phosphate, glutaric, malonic, and lactic acid. The combination of sugar and various types of acids that cause the lecy has a sweet flavor and refreshing.

Treat Cough and Stomach Injury
in the history of medicine, lecy fruit is believed to cure cough and have a beneficial effect to cure gastralgia, tumors and enlarged glands.

It has been reported that administration of fresh lecy in Florida, can heal the wounds of the stomach, so patients who previously disturbed can again enjoy the delicious food. The exact cause of this scientific unknown.

As well as long a fruit and apricots, lecy are also classified into pieces that are hot (as most mature in the cold), so it is suitable to be consumed group of people that are withered cold.

Vital energy and spleen they are mostly weak, low metabolism Basically, her body produces less energy, legs and hands, too cold in the hot days though. Their faces whiter than ordinary people, and rarely feel thirsty, and do not like to eat cold food. Fruits that is very beneficial to their heat.

Garden irrigation - this enables the irrigation system to water the flowers and garden plants. Irrigation systems are very useful for keeping the garden in perfect condition. For those who have a passion for gardening and not only the irrigation system is an excellent solution that allows you to water the plants in their absence. Water for crops is a valuable asset but must be enclosed in the right way. Plants may have a different structure. If the garden has not been created, you can decide to have a green area along facilities underground. This system prevents basement to show part of the water pipes and in some cases they are also a system that ‘emerging from the ground and then disappeared at the end of the irrigation period. The main utility lies in automation to drive, because it can promote itself automatically according to what we have planned, and then began to work even when we, for example, on holiday. For those who have a passion to make a DIY irrigation system is not very complicated, but it is important to have the right amount of watering points depending on the size of the park. To create a perfect site to meet irrigation, it is important to know the perimeter of the garden and create areas where certain types of flowers will be arranged or a tree. Plants that require more abundant un’innaffiatura should be placed where the plant will have a large number of watering cans. If you have a well, it is preferable to use this water instead of drinking water. The composition and creation of irrigation facilities consist of a series of pipes and valves. This allows the opening and closing. Service lines must be connected to the water for garden irrigation, but also has a special valve that allows you to isolate the plant itself, if you have to carry out maintenance work. On land, with the help of the picket, should get the pattern previously marked on the sheet. Only after the initial research and design you can go to practice. You begin to dig a trench about 20 cm, where the tube will be placed for the passage of water. These tubes are easy to find on the market and that can be installed easily. At this point you have to have sprinklers and test the system. Testing will determine whether each link has a loss and if everything is working perfectly. Excavation is back filled with soil and covered with grass. In this way irrigation system well hidden. What programmer allows the system to open and close the automatic watering programmer? This is the system chosen should depend on the size of the irrigated crop, and may be able to open and close the valve to six times a day. It works with the internal battery, plus it has some special sensors that optimize the use of water to avoid the opening of the irrigation system in case of rain.DIY stores you can find all the ingredients needed to build a self watering system, but due to lack of time or lack of skill on the job you prefer to call a specialist, you will not have trouble because it will directly evaluate the division of space according to plant species that you want to show to a particular place in space. Park, through the irrigation system, it is wet from a different angle and this allows the work that would not be done manually with the same precision. Manual irrigation and drip irrigation systems can be selected manually, it comes to having to open and close the water tap when needed. Drip method allows you to find solutions to water flower beds and fences; generally the area is not connected with the whole system because it works for a long time. Covered in drops of water, so that evens the soil to absorb more easily. If you want to avoid drawing a small excavation to place the crop irrigation pipe, tube, unfortunately, remains visible. The importance of the design phase of planning advice is also a garden room as a whole, if they want to build one, otherwise you end up with problems related to irrigation systems is that the lighting system. To find the right amount of water to plants in the garden we need to seek advice on the care which they are purchased. For this reason we always try to choose a species that has the same needs for irrigation, the basic elements to consider beyond just the beauty of plants.

Caterpillars are the larval stage of species within the order Lepidoptera, which includes butterflies and moths. Most are plant eaters, although some species are insect eaters. Most caterpillars are considered as pests in agriculture. Many species of moths known as stage caterpillars cause damage to the fruit and other agricultural products.

Control of Caterpillars

- Monitoring and identification of pests, pests stadia, parts and other plants are attacked, the level / intensity of the attacks, as well as environmental conditions to be submitted to the relevant officers.
- Perform mechanical control by collecting and destroying caterpillars, for example by means of burnt or buried in the ground.
- Installation of light traps (light traps) to kill the moths, because the moths are nocturnal and attracted to light.
- Collect pupa / chrysalis and put it into plastic bottles that were given the holes, so the moth cannot be formed out while the parasite that can come out and re-emerging role in nature.
- Maintain and preserve natural enemies such as predatory ants and birds by restricting and prohibiting the capture of birds in a tree ant egg retrieval, or ant colonies conserve and multiply by installing artificial nests of dry leaves and bamboo.
- Use a biological insecticide in the form of fungi, viruses, bacteria, nematodes, among others by (a). Collect the dead caterpillars exposed to the virus (hanging) and stirred with water, then sprayed back into the caterpillar, (b). Collecting cocoon or caterpillar fungus affected (white – fungus – Beauveria and green – the fungus Metarhizium), then multiply in the media of corn and spray into the caterpillar, (c). Use of biological insecticides that have been produced and are available in the Office / authorized agency.
- Installation of barrier (burrier) on mango trees in the form of fabric glue or toxic, especially for properties that have a caterpillar Arctornis when the evening rise to the top (canopy) to eat the leaves and in the afternoon down to the trunk to hide from predator attacks.
If the caterpillars are very concerned about the condition of the population can use natural insecticides that are relatively friendly environment, a plant-based insecticide (derived from plants), such as neem, tobacco, tuba root, piretrum, suren and others. Keep in mind that vegetable insecticides do not cause immediate death like synthetic insecticides.
- In critical condition, then the last way to use synthetic chemical insecticides are labeled low-power green poison.
- Do not use synthetic chemical insecticides for preventive measures, because it would interfere with the presence of natural enemies and polluting the environment.
